World Environment Day (WED) is celebrated globally every year on June 5. It stands as the United Nations’ flagship day for promoting worldwide awareness and action for the protection of our environment. Since its inception, it has grown into the largest global platform for environmental public outreach, celebrated by millions of people across more than 150 countries.
