    Description of the Tiranga

    Top band – Saffron (Kesari)

  • Symbolizes courage, sacrifice, and the spirit of renunciation.
  • Middle band – White

  • Represents truth, peace, and purity.
  • In the center is the Ashoka Chakra, a navy-blue wheel with 24 spokes, symbolizing law, dharma (righteousness), and continuous progress.
  • Bottom band – Green

  • Signifies faith, fertility, and the land’s prosperity.
