India celebrated its 76th Republic Day on January 26, 2025, marking 75 years since the adoption of its Constitution on January 26, 1950. The main event took place in New Delhi along the Kartavya Path, featuring a grand parade that showcased the nation's military strength and cultural diversity. The theme for this year's parade was "Swarnim Bharat: Virasat Aur Vikas" (Golden India: Heritage and Development).

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto was the chief guest for the celebrations. Notably, a 342-member band and marching contingent from the Indonesian National Armed Forces participated in the parade, marking the first time troops from an ASEAN country joined the event.

The parade included colorful tableaux from various states, with Uttar Pradesh showcasing the Maha Kumbh festival and Andhra Pradesh featuring eco-friendly wooden toys. Over 5,000 artists performed more than 45 different dance forms, highlighting India's rich cultural heritage.

The event concluded with an impressive air show, featuring around 40 aircraft, including 22 Indian Air Force fighter jets, performing formations across a clear sky.
